Most people have heard of and/or know the story of Joan of Arc. This stunning statue is made of solid, lead-free, cast pewter and stands 3-1/2" tall. The hand-finished details are very evident as you notice her armor, sword and the flag. The words "St. Joan of Arc" are found across the base of the statue. The Joan of Arc statue comes boxed.
St. Joan of Arc is the patron saint of many causes including France, military personnel, martyrs, and women in the service. She was considered a heroine during the Hundred Years War, was later burned at the stake for heresy and then later still cleared of the charges and declared a saint and martyr. St. Joan of Arc is a great model for young people going through the sacrament of Confirmation and this lovely statue would be a fitting remembrance of that occasion, especially if they have chosen Joan as their Confirmation saint name.
