Wreath Figurine Willow Tree
Susan Lordi, artist and designer for Willow Tree, created this lovely Magnolia A gathering of blessings" figurine because she likes "the double meaning of gathering...of materials to form into a wreath, or gathering together with friends and family." The figurine is made of resin and stands 5-1/2 inches tall. "A gatherings of blessings" is handpainted with the magnolia leaves offering a nice change from the traditional evergreens usually found in holiday wreaths. A protective box keeps the figurine secure when not in use.
Like all the Demdaco figurines, the "A gathering of blessings" wreath figurine is designed to create an emotion by using body gestures through the placement of hands or the tilt of the head so the final interpretation is left up to the viewer. This figure offers warmth and welcome as she holds the magnolia wreath with its numerous leaves giving many blessings. It would make a nice wedding or housewarming gift. It is recommended that the figurine be dusted with a soft cloth and kept away from water or a cleaning solvent.
