Product Details
St. John the Baptist is one of the better known figures found in the Bible. This holy card has the image of John baptizing Jesus in the river Jordan on the front and a prayer to St. John on the back. The image on the front shows Jesus in the water with the dove bearing witness to him as the Son of God hovering above him in the sky. John the Baptist is known for calling the people of his time to repentance so the prayer on the back of the card repeats this theme when asking God to "prepare us with a true sense of repentance to receive Your grace and salvation".
