This lovely bracelet made up of St. Benedict medals is designed so it can also be used to say one decade of the rosary. The metal bracelet has 11 St. Benedict medals for beads which give you a decade of the Rosary and the extra bead for the prayer said in between each decade. The bracelet measures 8” long so should fit most wrists and comes with a secure lobster claw closure. It also comes in a box which can be used for storage when the bracelet is not being worn.
The St. Benedict medal is one of the oldest and most honored in the Church. Because of the power it is thought to have against evil, it is sometimes called the "devil chasing" medal. One side of the medal holds an image of Benedict where he has a cross in one hand and his rule for monasteries in the other. The back of the medal has letters which are the first letters of a formula or prayer which has been said for ages to ward off evil. Close to the secure closure you also find a small crucifix and miraculous medal. This St. Benedict bracelet is a lovely jewelry accessory and has the added advantage of being perfectly designed to say one decade of the rosary.
