The crucifix is made of rosewood so has a subtle slight tinge of red in its appearance and measures 12 inches tall allowing it to be hung and displayed in just about any room. The silverplated corpus and INRI plaque are attached to the cross so stand out away from the cross with this corpus being limper in appearance than those on some other crucifixes.

The furniture grade, hand finished rosewood crucifix has beveled edges which gives the crucifix a layered appearance and gives you an example of the detailing for which Salerni is noted. Other fine detailing is noted in the design of the corpus itself. The rosewood crucifix comes with a pre-drilled opening in the back for convenience in hanging and comes in a lovely satin lined gift box presenting another example of the quality work of the company that makes the crucifix.
