This mint lip balm is dear to us because it is handmade in Wisconsin by Bee Bella. Made with sustainably sourced beeswax that creates a protective barrier on the lips, keeps harsh elements at bay while still allowing the skin to breathe. Chill out with this lucious peppermint lip balm. The cooling effect provides instant relief. It’s just what you need for soothing chapped lips. It’s your best ally against wind burn. And that extra cool touch in the hot, summer heat. All while healing and protecting your lips. A high note of Peppermint is achieved with its rich, complex aroma profile that includes a subtle hint of Coconut and a base note of Chocolatey Fair Trade Cocoa Butter. The mint lip balm also includes capsaicin (pepper extract) to up that wonderful “tingle” feeling to a whole new level.
The beeswax creates a protective barrier (emollient) on the lips to keep the harsh elements at bay while still allowing the skin to breathe. In addition, the mint lip balm uses Jojoba Oil, an oil so moisturizing it was used to replace whale oil in many exclusive skin care brands’ formulas. Vitamin E provides an antioxidant defense from the damage of free radicals, too. Read over the entire ingredient list to see why this lip balm may be minimal but works fabulously. The container is made of sustainably sourced bamboo with a plastic sleeve containing 50% ocean recycled plastic to hold the balm; you can mail the bamboo container to Bee Bella when you are done with it for proper recycling. Additionally, Bee Bella donates a percentage of proceeds to bee research.
