Honor the life of St. Agatha with this attractive medal necklace. She is the patron saint of breast cancer patients, rape, and sexual assault victims, bakers, and nurses. This St. Agatha healing saint pendant is specially designed to be a reminder of including a devotion to her for increasing your faith during your time of need. “Saint Agatha” is engraved on the medal’s front top area while “Patron Saint of Breast Cancer” is engraved along the bottom perimeter. “Patron Saint of Breast Cancer” is also engraved on the back of the medal. St. Agatha is shown in the middle of the front. Measuring ¾” in diameter, the St. Agatha medal is easy to add to a bracelet or necklace because it comes with a jump ring.
Agatha was born in Sicily during the 3rd century. She dedicated her life to God at a young age choosing to remain a virgin. But when she refused being forced into marriage by a Roman official, she was tortured in the extreme which included removing both of her breasts. Due to her deep faith, Agatha experienced miraculous healing while in prison. But ultimately, she was martyred and is now deeply respected as a person who inspired courage and purity. Made from a combination of metals, including: zinc, aluminum, copper, and magnesium, the St. Gemma Galgani medal is round and fairly lightweight.
