This lovely, hopeful cardinal saying has become quite popular. The When a cardinal... memorial plaque measures 18 by 22 inches and is made of sturdy and durable medium density fiberboard. It is designed to look like panel art with a background of roughened or distressed looking gray wood against which you find a brilliantly colored red and black cardinal. The comforting verse reads "When a cardinal appears in your yard, it is a visitor from Heaven" and is written under the cardinal across the face of the plaque in black script. It comes ready to hang.
