The card measures 4.37”W x 5.93”H and are blank inside for your own message. They have an explanation of the history and symbolism of the icon printed on the back. In addition, there is a Bible verse inside, Matthew 1:16 - Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called the Messiah. The icon on this St. Joseph’s Feast Day card is a meditation on the relationships Jesus has with both his earthly father and his Heavenly Father. Saint Joseph is also considered to be the patron of fathers, the dying, social justice, and all workers. The Church observes two feast days in his honor, March 19 as the Husband of Mary, and May 1 as Joseph the Worker.
