The crucifix is 6 inches tall and is made of walnut wood which has a lovely grain. On this crucifix, behind the corpus and making the crucifix extra meaningful, is a First Communion medallion. The medallion features a chalice with raised host and words that ring the medallion which read "In remembrance of my First Holy Communion". Many Christian homes have a crucifix hanging in them to remind the family of and testify to their faith.
