The Victorian Era meets romantic Ireland on this Claddagh necklace. Made of sterling silver, Connemara marble and marcasite, the design is a distinctive expression of Irish romance. Created by a kidnapped Galway sailor over 500 years ago as a wedding ring for his love that was still waiting, it embodies 3 symbols: the heart for love, the hands stand for friendship, and the crown symbolizing loyalty. The 600-million year old Connemara marble fills the heart and upper arch of the arms. Each piece of marble on the Claddagh necklace has a unique appearance.
The Claddagh necklace has a Victorian influence with the sparkling marcasite on the arms. It's a faceted crystal with a lively metallic luster and was used heavily during the Victorian Era. The design is classic and never goes out of style. There are 3 crystals on each arm and the 5/8" diameter Claddagh hangs on an 18" sterling silver chain. - Within 90 days of purchase date, your product may be returned to St. Patrick's Guild with a receipt for exchange or refund. Items returned for refund are paid back by the same method of payment which you originally used. Items returned without a receipt are credited with store credit.
