St. Michael the Archangel is venerated in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. His name means "who is like God" and part of his story is told in the Christian scriptures in the book of Revelation where he defeats Satan when the angels participate in a war in heaven. The St. Michael holy card is a clear laminated card measuring 2-1/2 by 4-1/2" which features gold accents on the beautiful Fratelli Bonella Italian artwork. This holy card shows St. Michael on the front of the card in a familiar scene where he is standing with his sword upraised and his foot holding the devil to the ground. The back of the card has the traditional prayer which reads in part "St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Protect us against the wickedness and snares of the devil". St. Michael is the patron saint of those in the military, police officers and those serving in battle.
