This holy card is dedicated to St. Francisco Marto one of the three Portuguese children who experienced the apparitions of Mary at Fatima where she asked them to say the Rosary and make sacrifices for the sinners of the world. Saint Francisco died at age 10 from the 1918 influenza epidemic that swept across Europe. He was canonized by Pope Francis when the Pope visited Fatima on the 100th anniversary of the first apparition of Mary to the children. Francisco preferred to pray alone saying that this would "console Jesus for the sins of the world". He, along with his sister Jacinta, practiced stringent self-mortification as they felt they were directed to do by Mary.

The Saint Francisco Marto holy card has an image of Francisco on one side and a Novena to St. Francisco Marto on the other. He is the patron saint of many causes including bodily ills, Portuguese children and people ridiculed for their piety. His feast day is February 20. The holy card is laminated for protection allowing for many years of use.
