Product Details
This is an encouraging holy card to have or to give to anyone who is grieving because of the death of a loved one. The "Safely Home" card measures 2-1/2" by 4-1/2" and is laminated so can take a lot of use. It features lovely Fratelli-Bonella Italian artwork with gold accents. The front of the holy card has an image of Christ as the Good Shepherd holding and surrounded by sheep. The back has an encouraging verse said as if in the voice of the departed one reassuring those left behind that the deceased person is in a better place. The verse reads in part "I am in Heaven dear ones; Oh so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light". Other reassuring verses are included which ask the reader to not grieve because the one speaking is in heaven.
The "Safely Home" holy card would be a nice extra gift to include with a sympathy card as the one receiving it can read the holy card over and over and perhaps get a sense of comfort. The card can be easily carried in a purse or briefcase so is easy to have on hand when a message of encouragement is needed.
