This beautiful Italian crucifix is made in Val Gardena, Italy. The Italian crucifix is imported to offer you exquisite Italian artistry. This Italian crucifix has a dark stained wood cross and a “Leonardo” corpus style that is made of resin. Overall the Italian crucifix measures 8”W x 18-1/2”H. The cross is made from select soft Alpine wood of the Swiss Stone Pine. Contemporary works are made with innovation that is rooted in traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. Notice that the INRI is in gold on this Italian crucifix and so is the lining of cloth on Jesus. Blue is the other color of Jesus’ cloth which harmonizes with the light wood and warm browns on His face.
With a depth of the cross measuring approximately 5/8”, the Italian crucifix is easy to hang as there is a hole in the back of the cross that slips over the wall hanger you provide in the wall.
