This unique Tau rosary is made with olive wood beads and is designed with a San Damiano Cross giving the rosary this name. “Tau” is the Greek letter for “t” and a Tau rosary has this shape for the Cross instead of the standard crucifix which is deeply symbolic in the Catholic tradition, especially for Franciscans, representing Christ's Cross, humility, and the promise of salvation.
