This St. Christopher medal represents one of the most popular saints. Legend has it that he carried the Christ Child on his back across a river. With each step, the child became more heavy and difficult to bear. When they reached the opposite shore, the child revealed himself as Jesus and told Christopher he had carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. Since then, St. Christopher has become the patron saint of automobiles, motorists, hazards of traveling, porters, sailor, travelers, truck drivers, bus drivers, and bachelors. St. Christopher medal is made of sterling silver and measures 1-1/16"H x 3/4"W.
The front of the medal depicts St. Christopher with the words "St. Christopher Pray for Us" around the edge.
