St. Michael is one of the best-known, if not the best-known saints of the Catholic Church. This stunning statue of St. Michael the Archangel is one you will be proud to display in your home. It is from Goldscheider's Veronese Collection and, as with all these statues, the detailing is amazing. The St. Michael statue features the traditional pose of him standing with his sword upraised and his foot on the head of Lucifer. The St. Michael statue is made of resin, stands 10 inches tall and is beautifully hand painted in rich tones of blues and browns which contrast in a lovely way against the lighter color of the wings.
Attention has been given to the detailing of the statue and this outstanding detailing can be seen, in particular, in the flare of St. Michael's robes, the design on the armor, the feather details on the wings and even in the curls on Michael's head.
