The 15 inch tall Baroque cross and corpus are presented in an “antique” styling for a stirring and unique look. The wooden crucifix has the cross hand-painted in black with gold trim and decorative details. Hand carved in the “Val Gardena” (Italy) tradition, which heralds back to the Middle Ages, this wooden crucifix demonstrates how the master carvers from this area perfected their art over the generations. Made of Linden wood, the stylized features on the wooden crucifix are expressive, physical details stunning, the halo striking.
Called a “Christ Pisa”, the wooden crucifix uses natural coloring on the body, white on the linen, and gold highlights. The corpus measures approximately 7-1/2 inches high and the cross is 15 inches high making the wooden crucifix suitable for display in a chapel, meditation area, in your home. What is your Return & Exchange Policy?
- Within 90 days of purchase date, your product may be returned to St. Patrick's Guild with a receipt for exchange or refund. Items returned for refund are paid back by the same method of payment which you originally used. Items returned without a receipt are credited with store credit. We do not require a return authorization number to process returns.
