There are six themes used in Called to Pray which include prayers for special occasions like the first day of school, prayers for the school community, for holidays and observances such as Earth Day, for liturgical seasons and Holy Days, prayers for friends and family and general prayers for the school year. Four types of prayers are included which are prayers of adoration, contrition, petition and thanksgiving. Some traditional Catholic prayers are also included.
