The Saint Benedict crucifix is a strong support against temptation. Beautifully crafted in Italy, this 1.5-inch silver crucifix is accented by a dark brown enamel and comes with a jump ring so that you can add your own chain or cord. What makes the Saint Benedict crucifix unique is that the saint's specifically designed medal is in the center of the cross. The front of the Saint Benedict crucifix shows the medal's cross with letters representing the prayer of Jesus while being tempted in the desert: "Be gone Satan! Never tempt me with your vanities! What you offer me is evil! Drink the poison yourself!"

The reverse side of our Saint Benedictine crucifix shows him and the letters representing his Latin prayer which, translated, mean: "May the Holy cross be my light! May the dragon never be my guide!"
