He was a faithful servant to Christ especially through the media and became a voice for Catholic Orthodoxy as a result.
Millions of viewers across different faiths were captivated by the charismatic preaching of Blessed Fulton Sheen. Along with his intellect, and ability to make complex theology accessible. Blessed Fulton Sheen hosted The Catholic Hour on NBC Radio from 1930-1950. In addition, he hosted a popular hit TV series, Life is Worth Living from 1951-1957. Blessed Fulton Sheen wrote more than 60 books over his lifetime and won the 1953 Emmy Award for the Most Outstanding Personality. Born May 8, 1895, he died on the floor of his private chapel in Our Lord's presence on Dec. 9, 1979.
