Product Details
One of the most beloved depictions of the Divine Mercy, this painting is by Eugene Kazimirowski who was commissioned by St. Faustina’s spiritual director, Fr. Sopocko. The Vilnius Divine Mercy painting was done under the direction of St. Faustina and first displayed during the Easter ceremonies in 1934. The Vilnius Divine Mercy print, beautifully framed in a decorative gold frame, measures 10-1/8”W x 16”H. The high quality print is a faithful reproduction done with the professional digital scan after the 2003 restoration of the original painting was completed. Christ gave St. Faustina this Divine Mercy image in Poland in 1931. In a conversation with our Lord, He explained the image to her and asked to have it painted so that all could adore Him and receive His Mercy.
The Vilnius Divine Mercy is available as a fine art print under premium clear glass or as an archival-quality giclée that is handcrafted in Ohio. A treasure for generations to come, may you find mercy, peace, and joy in this beautiful image of Our Lord. Per St. Faustina’s Diary 299: “I am offering people a vessel with which they are to keep coming for graces to the fountain of mercy. That vessel is this image with the signature" :Jesus, I trust in You." And this, “The two rays denote Blood and Water. the pale ray stands for the Water which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is the life of souls. These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized heart was opened by a lance on the Cross.” Through the intercession of St. Faustina, may we come to know and receive our Lord's desire to love us through mercy through this image. This Vilnius Divine Mercy framed fine art print makes a perfect addition to your living room or parish or is a perfect gift for a dear friend.
