Celebrate the awe-inspiring northland of Minnesota with this fun UP NORTH-Opoly game. The game is played the same as the original Monopoly game but uses favorite properties of northern Minnesota. There are six sculpted tokens: Bunyan’s Axe, Tepee, Timber Wolf, Viking Helmet, Corn-on-the-cob, and a Hockey Stick. UP NORTH-Opoly is for 2 to 6 players and for ages 8 and up. You get your rent by collecting cabins and trading them in for Lodges.
While each player is making their way up north, there are things like loon calls, towering pines, and bug spray that give your journey some character. In addition, what happens when a raccoon hijacks your trash can?! If you have friends and family that love going “up north” in Minnesota, they will surely enjoy this game. Making their way to places like the “North Shore” is filled with surprising twists and turns. UP NORTH-opoly can be played in the traditional time frame or be played for an hour session.
