Treasure in Clay is the autography of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen who was called "the Great Communicator" by Billy Graham and "a prophet of the times" by Pope Pius XII. The book has 80 chapters that range from his birth in 1895 to his death in 1979. Indexed photographs covering this same period of time are found throughout the book.
The book is divided into three sections by Sheen with the first being the period of vocation or call from God, the second was the period of proclamation which included the time of his "Life is Worth Living" acclaimed television show and the third period was when he says he "began to know Christ as never before, to love Him with ever greater intensity, and to experience unspeakable peace". The reader will share his reflections on his childhood, his years in the seminary, his years in television, his travels and much more.
