Saint Therese of Lisieux, also known as St. Therese of the Child Jesus or “The Little Flower”, was a 19th century Carmelite nun. She is well known for her autobiography Story of a Soul and died in 1897 from tuberculosis. St. Therese is patron of France, and those suffering from tuberculosis, and of the Catholic foreign missions. The Saint Therese pewter statue is a wonderful gift for anyone who shares her namesake or for someone who has a particular devotion to Saint Therese.
