Honor the life of St. Sarah with this medal necklace. She is known as Sara-la-Kali or Sarah the Black who is the mythic patron saint of the Romani people and those experiencing infertility. Through legend, she's identified as the servant to one of the 3 Marys that escaped to France during the early persecution of Christians. She was a native of upper Egypt and described as a charitable woman who diligently collected alms for the poor which led to the appearance of being a Gypsy. Her feast day is August 19. The St. Sarah medal necklace is about 7/8" high by 5/8" wide.
