This St. Patrick medal necklace is crafted from the pewter and measures 3/4” in diameter. St. Patrick, one of the most well-known and well-loved saints, is credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland. Legend says he used the shamrock to illustrate the Holy Trinity to the Celts. He is the patron saint of Ireland as well as the patron saint of those bitten by snakes. His feast day is March 17. The St. Patrick medal necklace hangs on a 24" silvertone chain, which is designed to slip right over the head and is the preferred length for most boys aged over 10 years.
The front of the medal necklace depicts an image of St. Patrick wearing his bishop attire and the back is blank. In addition, a laminated St. Patrick Prayer card is included. The St. Patrick necklace and prayer card make a great personal gift for those making their Confirmation and has also been very popular for First Communion.
