The St. Dymphna holy card biography tells of her birth in 7th century Ireland. Unfortunately, her mother died when Dymphna was 14 and the father was inconsolable. This grief plunged him into mental illness; when his advisors directed him to find a wife like his previous one, they turned to Dymphna. Her priest fled with her, but was ultimately found and killed her for not obeying him. This St. Dymphna holy card brings comfort to those who care for or suffer from similar pain.
