Our St. Anthony patron saint necklace medal brings hope for the absent-minded. Why? Anthony borrowed a valuable psalter once which he believed he misplaced. Unknown to him, a young novice had stolen it. As Anthony prayed for its recovery, the young man was terrorized by a menacing vision and rushed back quickly to return the book. The prescription for finding lost items: "Dear St Anthony, I pray, bring it back without delay." Or the more informal: "Tony, Tony, look around; something's lost and must be found." This St Anthony necklace medal honors the patron of searchers of lost things, the poor, and travelers. His feast day is June 13.
This round pewter St. Anthony medal measures 3/4" in diameter and features him cradling the Christ Child, who is believed to have appeared to Anthony, in addition to "Saint Anthony Pray for Us" around the border. The backside of the St. Anthony necklace medal is blank and hangs on a 24” silvertone chain.
