The oval medal on this St. Raphael necklace is crafted from the finest sterling silver and measures 7/8" high by 5/8" wide. St. Raphael is "one of the seven that stand before God" and protects pilgrims on their journeys. Performing all manners of healings, his name actually means "God Heals". He is the patron saint of travelers, the blind, nurses, physicians, medical workers, and Christian marriage and his feast day is October 24 or September 29. The St. Raphael medal necklace comes with a 20" surgical stainless steel chain.
The front of this handsome St. Raphael medal on the necklace depicts him in the traditional manner with wings, halo and carrying a staff.
