The oval medal on our St. Peregrine necklace is crafted from the finest sterling silver and measures 7/8" high by 5/8" wide and hangs on a 20" surgical stainless steel chain. St. Peregrine is cherished by many since he is the patron saint of persons suffering from cancer. After initially attacking the Church, Peregrine Laziosi had a conversion experience and went on to become a priest. When he was diagnosed with cancer of the foot and prayed the night before his scheduled amputation, he found his foot cured by morning.
The front of this handsome St. Peregrine medal on the necklace depicts him in the traditional manner with a cross in hand.
