Product Details
Honor St. Justin by wearing this sterling silver medal necklace. He is the patron saint of philosophers. Born c 100 ad, he was one of the most important of the Greek philosophers of the time in the early years of the Christian church. His feast day is June 1 and he was martyred in 125 ad in Rome, Italy during the time of prosecution under Marcus Aurelius. The Roman prefect, Ruticus, martyred him and 4 other Christians for not obeying the laws of Rome due to their Christian beliefs. This St. Justin medal measures 7/8"H x 5/8"W and is made of fine sterling silver.
The image of St. Justin holding a cross and scroll is embossed on the front of the medal along with "Saint Justin Pray for Us." The back of the medal is blank and gives you a chance to take it to your local jeweler for engraving. The St. Justin medal comes on a 20" surgical stainless steel chain.
