The St. Benjamin medal necklace celebrates a 5th century deacon of Persia. He preached relentlessly for the faith, despite being imprisoned for a year, and his refusal to stop preaching ultimately resulted in his martyrdom. He is the patron saint of all those with the name "Benjamin". The 3/4"H x 5/8"W sterling silver St. Benjamin medal necklace features an image of him holding a cross. The edge includes the words "Saint Benjamin Pray for Us". His feast day is March 31. The 20" chain is surgical stainless steel to prevent tarnishing and is the preferred chain length for most young boys.
