Our two-sided silver oxidized scapular rosary center, with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on one side and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the other, is a distinctive choice for any rosary. Lucia Santos said, "the rosary and the scapular are inseparable" and this rosary center affirms this sentiment. She was one of the three children that saw the Marian apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima (Portugal) in 1917 as well as the Pontevedra apparitions in Spain during 1925. The front of the silver metal piece shows Jesus in the traditional Sacred Heart posture that includes a halo around his head.
The back of the scapular rosary center shows the Virgin Mary pointing to her heart and holding up her left palm. Again, this is the traditional posture of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and she wears a halo, too. The scapular rosary center measures 5/8 x 7/8 of an inch not including the three connector loops. If you are repairing or creating a rosary for yourself or someone special, the piece stands out among other rosaries.
