Playing games is a good way to help children learn and that applies to learning prayers as well. This prayer cube contains six prayers basic to the Christian religion and includes The Hail Mary, Lord's Prayer, Act of Contrition, Sign of the Cross, Glory Be and Prayer to St. Michael with each prayer found on one side of the cube. The prayer cube can be rolled at a meal and used as the prayer before eating, can be rolled at bedtime for evening prayer or used any time you wish to pray with a child. The prayer cube is made of mahogany, measures 2-1/2" square and has laser cut lettering done in contrasting black so the prayers are easily read.

Saying the prayers rolled on the cube makes the prayers fun to learn and makes them easier to memorize as they are said over and over again. Rolling the prayer cube will be especially helpful if you let the child roll the cube and be involved in saying the prayers. The prayer cube could be a helpful learning device for small children learning prayers for the first time especially if they are making their first Reconciliation and First Communion.
