The front of this laminated Prayer Before a Crucifix holy card features a picture of Christ on the Cross, with a halo of light and spear wound on his side. This picture is bordered by a a gold scrollwork pattern that incorporates wheat and grapes, a reminder of Christ's sacrifice and Real Presence in the Eucharist. A prayer is printed on the back of the holy card. The holy card's prayer encourages reflection upon Christ's great sacrificial love for us and asks Him for help in repenting of our sins.
