The traditional 10 bead Our Lady of Sorrows rosary continues to be a great comfort to many. (This is not the special 7 bead devotion rosary to Our Lady of Sorrows.) The beautiful traditional Mary blue color of the 7mm round glass beads calms the spirit and harmonizes with the image of Mary in the centerpiece. Made of pewter, the 1-1/8"W x 1-7/8"H crucifix is handsomely detailed along with the Our Lady of Sorrows rosary centerpiece. The centerpiece measures 3/4"W x 1"H and is plain on the back. As with any rosary, the Our Lady of Sorrows is a meditation on the mysterious events of God's love for us as shown in the lives of Jesus and Mary.
However, the Our Lady of Sorrows rosary offers a special focus on the pain and suffering that tested Mary's faith that invited her into the embrace and mystery of God's salvation through Jesus.
