Product Details
Our lady of the Miraculous Medal is the title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary when she appeared to a Sister of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Paris. Mary show Sr. Catherine an image of a medal she asked to have made and when stories of cures and conversions made the medals popular the medals started being called “miraculous.” The front of the devotional Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Holy Card has the colorful image of Mary as she appears on the medal and a smaller image of both sides of the medal.
The inside has a two page description of how the medal came about. On the back is the prayer to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. The holy card is laminated for durability and stamped with gold leaf highlights with full color inside and out. The holy card measures 3-1/8 by 5-1/4 so is easy to carry. The feast day for Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is October 7 and she is a universal patron saint.
