Product Details
Our Lady of Knock, also known as Mother of the Universal Church, refers to Mary as she appeared to villagers in the village of Knock in County Mayo, Ireland. This holy card features her image on the front featuring the Italian art of famed Fratelli-Bonella with a prayer to her on the back. The card measures 2-1/2" wide and 4-1/2 inches tall and is laminated making it sturdy and durable to use. The prayer on the back reads in part
"My Queen! My Mother! I give you all myself, and, to show my devotion to you, I consecrate to you my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my entire self."
The appearance at Knock included Mary, Joseph and St. John the Evangelist and was unusual as no words were spoken. It has been determined by the Church to be a "probable" appearance.
