St. Timothy was a faithful companion of the Apostle Paul, accompanying him on several missions including those to the Corinthians and the Thessalonians. At Paul's request, Timothy journeyed to Ephesus to act as Paul's representative; he remained there for the rest of his life, eventually becoming the city's first bishop. He was martyred as a result of his opposition to the celebration of the feast of the goddess Diana.
St. Timothy is the patron of those who suffer from stomach ailments; due to his austere lifestyle, he developed infirmities which led St. Paul to recommend that Timothy 'no longer drink only water but take a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments.' (1 Tim 5:23 NRSV). Most sources list his feast day as January 26; Butler's Lives of the Saints offers January 24. What is your Return & Exchange Policy?
- Once the item has been personalized, it becomes non-returnable unless personalization error is made by St. Patrick’s Guild.
- Within 90 days of purchase date, your non-personalized product may be returned to St. Patrick's Guild with a receipt for exchange or refund. Items returned for refund are paid back by the same method of payment which you originally used. Items returned without a receipt are credited with store credit. We do not require a return authorization number to process returns.
