The oval medal on our St. Peregrine necklace is crafted from the finest sterling silver and measures 1-1/16"H x 3/4"W. St. Peregrine is cherished by many since he is the patron saint of persons suffering from cancer. After initially attacking the Church, Peregrine Laziosi had a conversion experience and went on to become a priest. When he was diagnosed with cancer of the foot and prayed the night before his scheduled amputation, he found his foot cured by morning. The medal hangs on a 24" chain is made of surgical stainless steel and designed to slip over the head.
The front of this handsome St. Peregrine medal on the necklace depicts him in the traditional manner with a cross in hand. The back of the medal is blank giving you an opportunity to add a date or message by taking it to your local jeweler for engraving.
