It measures 1-1/16" high by 3/4" wide and comes on a 24" surgical stainless steel chain to prevent tarnishing and corrosion. Designed to slip right over the head, this chain length is appropriate for most men and teen boys. St. Jude Thaddeus was the brother to St. James the Less and one of Jesus' 12 Apostles. He was martyred in Persia in the 1st century.
The St. Jude metal shows him holding a staff with a halo along with the inscription "St. Jude Pray for Us" around the edge. The back of the St. Jude medal is blank which allows you to inscribe a personal message for the recipient by taking the medal to your local jeweler for engraving.
