This stunning kneeling wise man is designed for the Roman Nativity set that is 39 inches tall though the figures could be used for any set that has taller figures. The figure is made of a sturdy and durable resin and stone mix and stands 24 inches tall. The wise man is designed by the famed Joseph Studios which is noted for its fine attention to detailing. That detailing can be seen here especially in the flow of the robes, the definition of his hair, beard and his hands and the ornate box he is holding. The wise man figure comes boxed.
The wise man's robes are done in deep, dark colors and seem to reflect the richness of his position as a magi. Notice the tender look on his face as he kneels at the manger where he honors the baby. The wise men are a huge part of the story of the Nativity and this figure allows you to add that aspect to your Nativity scene in a beautiful and lovely manner. The 39 inch Nativity figures are a good size for a church or chapel Nativity set.
