Made from gold over sterling silver, each heart is expertly designed and each measures 9/16” hanging on an 18” fine chain. A devotion to these three hearts allows us to ask for intercession and grace. The first heart is the Sacred Heart of Jesus and is very familiar to any Catholic. The Three Hearts necklace shows the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the crown of thorns across it. The second heart on the Three Hearts necklace is the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The traditional design shows a sword piercing the heart that is shown surrounded by roses. The devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary became popularized by St. John Eudes, a French Priest.
The third heart on the Three Hearts necklace is lesser known and is the Most Chaste Heart of St. Joseph. The design of this heart includes lilies surrounding it, representing his chastity as the earthly father of Jesus.
