There are almost fifty saints named Michael but the most popular and well known is St. Michael the Archangel whose Feast Day is September 29th. He is patron of policemen, sailors and those in peril at sea, paratroopers and all those in battle, those tempted, the sick and dying, and cemeteries. This St. Michael medal is 18Kt gold over a sterling silver base metal, and the size of a quarter. The front of the saint medal depicts a powerful image of St. Michael and the inscription 'St. Michael Pray For Us' around the perimeter. The medal comes on a 24 inch endless gold-plated chain which is our most popular size for most men.
