This piece of Celtic calligraphy celebrates the bonds that lie between brothers and sisters. The verse reads, "To the outside world we all grow old. But not to Brothers & Sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts...and live outside the touch of time." The outstanding beauty of the piece is created with medieval techniques used for illuminated manuscripts. Celtic artist Kevin Dillon ground semi-precious stones to make paints and hand letters the verse on calf skin vellum for this design. 24K gold leaf was applied at the last. While the Celtic calligraphy print is a high-quality reproduction of the original since the artist has now retired, the company now keeping this beautiful art available in the world applies his personal wax seal on each piece by hand utilizing the artist's orginal wax seal.
This piece of Celtic calligraphy is framed beautifully in antique gold and has an easel back for tabletop display or a hook for hanging. Double mats in green with metallic gold set off the grand array of colors. A description and picture of the artist are included with the framed Celtic calligraphy piece.
