Product Details
This is a lovely card to send to family and friends for the holidays. The stunning image on the front of the Flight Into Egypt Christmas card is taken from a mural at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception at Conception Abbey and was painted by the monks in the late 19th century. The mural features Joseph leading the donkey upon which Mary and the baby Jesus are sitting. They are followed protectively by an angel. The deep dark colors used add a dramatic touch to the sense of stealth and secretiveness of the scene. The card measures 5x7 inches so there is generous room to include your holiday message and greetings. There are 18 Flight Into Egypt cards and envelopes in the box.
The inside of the card includes a verse which reads "As we celebrate God's love at Christmas may we come to greater care and love for one another". The bible verse from Matthew 2:13 is also included. The message of care and love for one another found inside the card fits in so perfectly with the image on the front of the card where both Joseph and the angel are showing love and care for Mary and the baby.
