This scripture prayer cube will be a unique gift to give a young person for their First Holy Communion. The wood cube is made of mahogany and has laser cut bible verses or First Communion prayers on each side of the cube. The laser cutting gives the words a darker look and makes them stand out against the wood grain of the cube. The top side of the cube features a laser cut chalice accompanied by wheat sheaves and grapes which are the symbols of the bread and wine of Communion and the words "First Holy Communion" making the cube specific to that sacrament.
The scripture cube measures 2-1/2 inches square so is the perfect size to sit on a table or shelf convenient for a child to look at and read each day. Saying the prayer or reading the bible verse on one side of the cube each day will not take a lot of time for the child and is a good way to start getting them involved and interested in daily prayer. Since the cube is related to Communion, Sunday could be a good day for the child reads all the sides of the cube.
