Commemorate the special occasion of a young person''s First Communion with this lovely First Communion wall cross. The cross is made of wood and measures 5-1/2 inches tall and 3-3/4 inches wide. The front of the cross is painted blue and contains symbols of First Communion which include a chalice holding grapes, wheat branches and a dove. The center of the cross has a host which contains the initials "HIS" which stands for "Jesus". A hook on the back allows for immediate hanging of the cross. The cross comes in clear plastic packaging with the words "Communion Blessings" on the package.
Crosses are a frequent gift given for First Communion and this one will give the child a lovely remembrance of her or his special occasion. Hanging on the wall of the child's room, the cross will be a constant reminder to the child of the occasion of receiving Jesus for the first time in Communion with fellow parishioners and becoming a full partner in the life of the Church.
